About Us 'Outdoor Views - La Palma' was created in early 2008 and is the creation of two keen walkers, travellers and photographers who love to explore new places, see new things and find a hidden gem 'just around the corner' every time. Why the La Palma website?
After a good two week break of mostly sunny skies and many great experiences, we wanted to share our knowledge, thoughts and reviews of what we had seen of the island together with links and information to help you get the most from your trip. Our website aims to provide a comprehensive source of La Palma tourist information that covers every aspect in an honest, informative way without the need to look elsewhere. The site will be developing as we add further details but in the meantime, if you have any suggestions or comments on what we have so far, please let us know. We are also aiming to develop a number of websites for Outdoor Views covering our experiences in Vietnam, Borneo, Lake Garda, the UK and much, much more... One half of the Outdoor Views team is Cindy who runs Prickly Pear Design, a web and graphic design company in the south of England so if you ever need a website, give her a call! |
We stayed in La Palma as a couple for two weeks during February 2008 and in preparation for our trip, spent far too many hours online and in the library searching for information and reviews on the places, areas or walks that we hoped to visit when we arrived. All in all, this proved to be fairly unsuccessful and we were still none the wiser as we boarded the plane.
